Your cruise will take you across seagrass bed sanctuaries and into the dense mangrove everglades of Missionary Bay. With a richly informative commentary, your skipper will guide you through the past, present and future of this vast wilderness.

A short walk along a mangrove boardwalk and over the sand dunes takes you to Ramsay Bay.

Here you have the opportunity to take a walk beachcombing, or take a swim in the clean azure waters of this magnificent ocean beach with spectacular backdrop of Mt. Bowen.

 

After leisurely exploring Ramsay Bay you will board the vessel again for your next destination, Cape Richards, passing by Garden Island and Goold Island enroute to the Hinchinbrook Island Wilderness Lodge and Resort jetty.

You may choose to take the no cost option of being dropped off at Macushla Beach to take an easy walk via secluded bays and rainforest tracks over to the Wilderness Lodge.

Spend a leisurely 4 hours swimming and walking through magnficent rainforest and along ocean beaches or use the facilities of the Wilderness Lodge, including swimming pool and main Lodge bar and restaurant.

You have the option of partaking in a delicious tropical lunch served in the shade of the Wilderness Lodge and manicured rainforest gardens.
